Join NowHow Cricket Fight works
Cricket Fight is the fantasy-style section of Laser247. Instead of betting on who wins the match, you pick a team of players from both sides and score points based on how those players actually perform. Your team competes against other users' teams in a contest, and the prize pool is shared according to the final ranking.
Playing a contest
- Choose an upcoming match and a contest. The entry fee and prize split are shown before you join – see the contest types above.
- Pick your eleven within the rules for each role and the limit on players from one side.
- Choose a captain and a vice-captain. Their points are multiplied, so these two picks matter most.
- Submit before the deadline. Line-ups lock when the match starts.
- Follow your points live. Winnings are added to your wallet after the match is settled.
Picking a better team
- Wait for the toss. Playing elevens are confirmed then. A star who isn't playing scores nothing.
- All-rounders are valuable. They can score with both bat and ball.
- Top-order batters and death bowlers get the most chances to score points in T20.
- Look at the ground. High-scoring venues favour batters; slow pitches favour spinners.
- Captain choice decides contests. In large contests a less obvious captain can separate you from the crowd; in head-to-head, the safe pick is usually right.
Contest size and your chances
Big contests have large first prizes, but only a small share of entrants win anything. Head-to-head and small contests pay less and give you a far better chance of finishing in the money. Choose the entry fee the way you'd choose a stake: an amount you are comfortable losing.
Rules to check
The points table, what happens if a match is abandoned or shortened, and how ties are split are all on the rules page. Winnings go to the same wallet as the rest of your ID.
