Sports betting on Laser247: what you need to know
Laser247 is an exchange, which means you can bet for a result (back) or against it (lay), and prices move while the match is being played. Cricket has the most markets by far; football and tennis are covered for the major leagues and tournaments.
Reading the odds
Odds are shown as decimals. Your profit is your stake × (odds − 1). Back a team at 1.80 with Rs 1,000 and you win Rs 800 if they win, or lose Rs 1,000 if they don't. The blue price is the back price and the pink price is the lay price.
Back and lay in one example
India are 1.80 to win. If you back India for Rs 1,000, you win Rs 800 when India win. If you lay India for Rs 1,000, you win Rs 1,000 when India don't win, and lose Rs 800 – your liability – when they do. Always check the liability on the bet slip before confirming a lay bet.
Cricket markets
- Match odds: who wins, with back and lay prices.
- Bookmaker: the same question at prices set by the book, usually with higher limits.
- Fancy / session: runs in 6, 10, 15 or 20 overs, a batter's runs, fall of the next wicket. These settle as soon as the over or event is complete.
Session bets come round every few minutes, which makes them the quickest way to lose track of your spending. Decide a stake per session and keep to it.
Football and tennis
Football offers match result, over/under goals and both-teams-to-score style markets on the main leagues. Tennis offers match winner and set betting. Fewer people bet on these than on cricket, so check the gap between back and lay before you bet – a wide gap costs you money going in and coming out.
Closing a bet early

- Wait for the toss and the playing eleven before betting on cricket.
- Your TV or stream is seconds behind the ground. Don't try to beat it.
- Use a small, fixed stake and never raise it to chase a loss.
