Search for "Laser247" and you'll find dozens of sites that look almost identical – same colours, same logo, slightly different web address. Add the WhatsApp numbers posted all over Telegram and Instagram and it gets confusing fast. So is Laser247 real or fake? The honest answer: the platform is real, but a lot of what you'll find with its name on it isn't. Here's how to tell the difference before you send anyone money.

Why there are so many Laser247 sites

Laser247 works on an agent model. You don't register with an email and card the way you would on a shopping site. An agent creates an ID for you, you deposit through them, and you play on the exchange. 4. They ask for your password or an OTP. A real agent never needs either. Ever.
5. No small withdrawals. They're happy to take ₹500 but have a reason why you can't withdraw ₹500.
6. "Pay to release" demands. Tax, GST, "account upgrade", "verification deposit" – any fee to unlock your own money is fraud.
7. Pressure. "Offer ends in 10 minutes", "last 3 IDs left". Real services don't rush you.
8. The balance is just a number on a page. Some cloned sites show a fake dashboard where you always win – until you try to withdraw.

The ₹500 test

1. Deposit the smallest amount allowed.
2. Place one or two small bets so the account shows genuine activity.
3. Request a withdrawal of whatever is left.

Checking a website before you log in

• Read the address bar letter by letter. Clones use swaps like lasar, leser, extra hyphens or odd endings. Once you have a working address, bookmark it and stop searching.
• Padlock ≠ safe. HTTPS only means the connection is encrypted. Scam sites have padlocks too.
• Never log in through a link in a message. Type the address or use your bookmark.
• Be careful with APK files. Betting apps aren't on the Play Store, so "Laser247 app" downloads float around in chats. An APK from an unknown source can read your SMS and OTPs. If you must install one, take it only from your agent's official link, and never grant SMS or accessibility permissions. The mobile website does everything the app does.

Verifying a WhatsApp number

Look for a WhatsApp Business profile with a consistent name. Ask a direct question – "what's the minimum withdrawal and how long does it take?" – and see whether you get a straight answer or a sales pitch. A genuine agent is relaxed about you starting small. Keep the whole conversation in one chat; screenshots of what you were promised are your only evidence if something goes wrong.

Is it legal?

We won't pretend this is simple. Gambling law in India is set largely state by state, several states ban online betting outright, and central rules on online money gaming have been tightening. • Save everything: chats, numbers, UPI IDs, screenshots, the site address.
• Ignore "fund recovery agents" who contact you afterwards. That's the second round of the same scam.
